Hi everybody! Today I was lucky enough to attend London Fashion Week Festival at the Store Studios. This was my second time going to the event – the first time was back in February. My experience last time was so fun, and I am so glad that LFWF gave me the opportunity to go again today.
For those of you that don’t know what London Fashion Week Festival is, it’s the biannual consumer event that follows London Fashion Week. It’s a shopaholic’s dream, with over 150 brands to buy from at exclusive insider prices. As well as this, there is an amazing programme of talks from industry heavyweights, about making a career in fashion, global issues affecting the field, and so much more.
One of my favourite areas was the River Island x Ashish collection, which was filled with sparkles! Ashish himself describes the 15 piece collection as ‘something lazy and a bit dreamy’ – which is a perfect fit for me. You can find out more about this release here*. I absolutely adored these sequinned slip dresses!
Once again, Maybelline was showing at LFWF. I always love their products, and the staff working there were so friendly and helpful! I tested out a few of their classic products, as well as learning about a few of their new releases. They’re bringing out a new semi-permanent brow gel – ‘Tattoo Brow*’. It lasts for three whole days! This is the perfect product for me, as it is so simple to use and requires very little effort. Head over to my Instagram stories to see my thoughts. You can see more of my eye makeup tips and tricks here!
Whilst I was there, I also got a complimentary manicure at the Perfect 10 nail bar. The ladies were so nice, and made my nails look fantastic! I chose the colour ‘Buy Me A Cameo*’ by Essie, and it’s a gorgeous rose gold/metallic pink. So many lovely people have complimented my nail colour. They also used Essie quick drying drops*, which I didn’t even realise was a thing! They dried almost instantly – I was so shocked at how well they worked. I’m definitely going to have to buy some because I feel like I spend so much time just waiting for my nails to dry!
There were five different ticket packages. Last time, London Fashion Week Festival treated me to a LUXE ticket, which made me feel like royalty. It included a limited edition tote bag filled with goodies, access to the LUXE lounge, as well as front row catwalk seats. This time, I chose two Bronze tickets, so that I could bring a photographer friend with me. Bronze tickets get you access to London Fashion Week Festival, talks by industry professionals, and the exclusive shopping arena. And if you change your mind on the day, you can pay to see a catwalk show or to get the limited edition tote bag. Whatever your budget or preferences, you can customise your day to suit your needs.
The next LFWF is going to be in February, and I can’t wait! Have you been to London Fashion Week Festival? Let me know in the comments!
